Brenden J. McVeigh was born and raised in northern New Jersey.
McVeigh has performed on stages in both New York City and Los Angeles, as an actor, as well as a stand-up comedian and musician. He first cut his teeth on the stage, during ten years of singing for a rock band, which shared bills with the likes of Public Enemy, The Meatmen, The Lunachicks and Scream (then, featuring a young, pre-Nirvana Dave Grohl), at venues such as CBGB and others.
Soon, while taking film and television classes at New York's School of Visual Arts (SVA), that Brenden discovered his passion for acting, was encouraged to study acting privately by a professor‚ and soon studied with Diane London and Gale Green.
Since relocating to Los Angeles, he studied with Bobbie Shaw Chance, and has appeared in numerous film and stage productions, including "The Red Boot Diaries," a television pilot for VH-1 Networks. He has also provided voiceovers for several independent projects. In 2008, he reprised various roles previously performed in John Stark's 2004 production of "The Great Election."
Brenden currently is based in Austin, TX. When not acting, Brenden is usually reading, painting, writing stories, building or fixing something.
